NEOREKA ASIA is supporting the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) — the government agency under the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry responsible for promoting investment into Malaysia — in accelerating its digital transformation using desknet's NEO groupware and the no-code AppSuite platform.

The first phase of migrating MIDA's existing applications to AppSuite began operational use in August 2024. The initiative aims to modernise workflows and strengthen communication across MIDA's 33 offices worldwide — combining its Malaysian headquarters with overseas branches — while supporting more data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

The partnership would help MIDA "modernise workflows and improve communication", enabling the organisation to "respond agilely to changing needs" through improved information delivery to stakeholders across its global network.
