NEOREKA ASIA exhibited at AiSEM@Selangor 2026, the Selangor AI & Semiconductor Summit, held from 14 to 17 October 2026 in Hall 4 of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). We ran our own booth for all four days of the exhibition.
Organised by the Selangor Information Technology & Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec) with the Advanced Semiconductor Academy of Malaysia (ASEM), and hosted by the Selangor state government, AiSEM is the new name for the Selangor Smart City & Digital Economy Convention (SDEC), which ran for ten years. The 2026 edition, the eleventh, was part of the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2026 under the theme "Designed By Malaysia: Building a Globally Competitive AI Semiconductor Ecosystem."
Alongside the startup, AI and semiconductor exhibition, the programme included a Semiconductor Summit and an AI Summit at Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysia Semiconductor Recruitment Day, and the Selangor Triple Accelerator Grand Final Demo Day. Before the event, the organisers announced more than 150 exhibitors, including Intel, Sandisk, MIDA and MRANTI.
Showcasing No-Code at the NEOREKA ASIA Booth
At our booth, the team demonstrated desknet's NEO, the no-code digital workplace platform from our parent company NEOJAPAN Inc., together with AppSuite, its no-code app builder. Visitors saw how teams can turn paper forms and spreadsheets into business apps with drag and drop, set up approval workflows, and keep track of their work on shared dashboards, without needing developers.
While much of AiSEM focused on chips and AI infrastructure, many of the conversations at our booth were about something closer to everyday work: how organisations can put digital tools in the hands of the people who run their processes.
"AiSEM showed how much Selangor is investing in Malaysia's AI and semiconductor future. Technology only creates value when people can use it in their daily work, and that is what no-code makes possible. It was a pleasure to show visitors how desknet's NEO and AppSuite let teams build the apps they need themselves."
